今年8月的國際醫學教育大會，簡稱AMEE，即將在瑞士美麗的小鎮巴塞爾舉行。
其中一個特別的session——AMEE Fringe，是以跳脫傳統醫學教育，以創意方式呈現教育模式的環節。今年全球21位投稿，6位錄取，要口頭現場報告20分鐘。
我將之前畫的一些醫療漫畫做成小影片拿去投稿，投稿的主題是「器官擬人化」，像是息肉切除的漫畫等等，老實說我投稿的時候並不覺得自己會上…………..結果很幸運的、居然、被AMEE國際會議接受了！！！！
因為這件事情是醫院體系內首例，以往醫院獎勵的醫學教育會議報告模式為口頭或海報發表，內容多為研究文章等等，發表漫畫的前所未有。為此醫學教育中心特地找了四位醫教專家開會審議，並一路上簽呈到最高層，最後的結果是——院方鼓勵年輕醫師多發揮創意，因此同意獎勵補助我去報告。
我簡直不敢相信，跟做夢一樣，這一切真的太神奇。今年八月，路障要去瑞士啦！！！

A Medical Comic: Unleashing Imagination, Inspiring Exploration, and Making Learning Interesting.
Traditionally, we learn about medicine as if we’re the main character, the doctor exploring the deep medical world. But what if the main characters were not us, but the tumor waiting to be removed or the foreign body wanting to be taken out?
Let’s dive into how I’m turning medical education into interesting comics. Imagine a world where medical stuff, like tumors and foreign bodies, become lively characters with exciting stories. These comics will make the unseen parts of our bodies come to life. Join me on a journey where the main characters aren’t always doctors in white coats, but the things we’re trying to understand, fix, or get rid of. The pages of these comics will uncover the hidden tales within our own bodies.
